This is a dance to begin the school year. Status: Open DETAILS Free entry, no tickets need to be purchased. Boy ask girl, girl ask boy, come alone OR just come with a bunch of your friends. The choice is all yours. Occasion: To welcome our freshmen and other new students, and to welcome back the other students! RULES The basics, no fighting, no swearing, no bullying, no drugs, no alcohol. If you are caught doing/with any of these things, you will be kicked out. My advice? Behind the toilets. There's ALWAYS alcoholics back there. RP RULES Please, break the rules? I want some fun to happen here! No harrassing others. No unnecessary comments. Please use correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. We should all be at least semi-literate, and should try to do these things. Of course, semi-literate posting won't really be necessary. we're only trying to get the site back up a little, and have some fun. Try not to give us one liners. Not fun. What's even worse is having your whole message in speech marks. Even '"How are you?" Tommy asked the butcher' is more interesting than '"How are you?"', right? I hope you think that. Otherwise this is going to be fairly boring. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and don't pretend there is relationships that haven't already been explained through other threads or bios. That can get fairly annoying. OH, AND ONE LAST THING! No Mary Sue's or Gary Stu's. NOBODY'S PERFECT!!!!

Dance like no one's watching. Sing like no one's listening. Laugh like you're on drugs and Party like it's your last chance ever. I walked into the dance, grinning, worried that I might be slightly underdressed, and that I should have gone more formal. I was wrong, though. It was obvious no one really made a fuss about this particular dance. I made my way to the punch, and poured myself a glass. I looked around, feeling slightly shy, wondering who to talk to. My brother wasn't their yet, and it would be kind of awkward to talk to him. as my eyes scanned the room, I heard a voice start talking, and turned abruptly to see if they were talking to me. I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins, Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break, I'm like a performer the dancefloor is my stage Better be ready hope that you feel the same I walked into the school dance. I came alone. I didn't want to go with Gen and I made Will go with Chad. Being the evil cousin, I had to. When I looked around I could see I was a bit out of place. I dressed a little too rebelliously. But I didn't care. People were looking at me but I just smiled nicely and kept walking. If they didn't like me, that was fine with me. I liked the way I dressed. I walked over to the table with punch ad some sandwiches on it. I picked up a ham sandwich and started eating it. I looked over and a saw a girl with blond wavy hair at the punch bowl. I finished my sandwich and walked over to her. "Hey, I'm Titania, I haven't seen you around before" I said to her. She turned around cautiously as if to see if I was talking to her. When she realized I was she smiled at me. "Hey, I'm Alexandria" She replied. I was about to ask her if she had gotten to know people when our band was called up. "I'll be back in a few minutes, my band is on" I smiled as I nervously walked on stage. I loved preforming but I was always a bit nervous getting on stage. I was the only girl in my band of four, yet I was the leader. The guys smiled reassuringly at me. They knew I could get nervous. They started playing Funhouse by Pink. She was my favorite singer. When the song ended we went straight into Fairymore, Misery Business. After that I introduced Willows band. As I was leaving the stage and she was getting on she whispered in my ear "I hate you" I smiled at her, "I love you too cuz'" I replied. I knew she was referring to me setting her up with Chad. When I got back to the punch bowl I remembered Alexandria. I looked around and spotted her by herself the other side of the room. I skipped happily over to her. Status: Complete Wardrobe choice: here

I clenched my teeth as we began playing Things I'll Never Say, by Avril Lavigne. When my guitar solo came on, I searched the room for Tie. She was chatting to some girl in the far corner of the room. She glanced up at me for a brief moment, and smiled when I mouthed: HATE YOU. The girl beside her laughed, and asked a question. The obvious one of course why does she hate you?I saw Chadwick standing awkwardly in the back of the room, trying not to catch my eye. He was angry with Tie too, but not as much as me. Tie had ruined my plan: I wanted her to go with Chaddy, because I knew she was waaaaay more sociable than me. I would've missed my cue to start singing again if Ardyion hadn't kicked me under the drums. I glared at him, then kept singing. I looked around for Gwen and Scilia but I couldn't see them anywhere. Dance like no one's watching. Sing like no one's listening. Laugh like you're on drugs and Party like it's your last chance ever. As I turned, I saw a girl, who looked a bit too rebellious for a school dance, grabbing a sandwich. She looked young, in about her freshman year. "Hey, I'm Titania," she told me. "I haven't seen you around before. She put the sandwich into her mouth, and ate it extraordinarily quickly, and I introduced myself. Her mouth opened, but she was quickly interrupted by the microphone. Her band was announced, and I wished her good luck as she rushed towards the stage.
The table was becoming quite crowded, so I made my way to the other side of the room, out of everybody's way, watching Titania lead her band. She was amazing. As her and her band finished, she made her way back to me. Again? People usually didn't give me the time of day, let alone talk to me twice. "You were amazing," I complimented her, grinning. She was a really nice girl - I wanted to be friends with her. It did seem strange, of course, that a senior would want to be friends with someone who looked like a freshman, but I felt she was probably even more mature than me. I was very immature, despite my academic results, which were quite high. This was only some of the reasons I wasn't really accepted among the seniors - I was childish, I hung out with freshmen and I loved school. I had learned to live with it, though. Actually, I quite enjoyed being the misfit. I don't know why anyone would want to fit with the people in my year. Next year I would be off to faery college, in which the people would probably be even worse, but I was very excited. I was hoping to go to the Greesia Faery Performing Arts College, the only performing arts college known to faery kind. I assured myself I could get in, I had outstanding results in musical and academic areas, but like anyone, I had my regrets. I needed to stop thinking bout schoolwork, though. This was a dance! For once in my life, I should just have fun, and not think about my socially demonic personality, or future life.
I glanced over to the band, and the lead mouthed to Titania 'I hate you'. Laughing, I asked her, "Why does she hate you?" The band was awesome. I wondered if I would be able to form a band with someone here. Status: Complete Posting With: Titania Daffodil, and the rest of you. CALLING ALL PARTY CRASHERS! When my song finished, I went up to Tie, the completely opposite side of the room to Chadwick. "Hey, Will," She smiled politely. "I would recomend you don't sleep tonight, Tie, you don't know what could happen in the middle of the night, when you're not conscious enough to stop it," I smiled back innocently. The blonde girl looked seriously afraid of me now. She should.

Dance like no one's watching. Sing like no one's listening. Laugh like you're on drugs and Party like it's your last chance ever. Slightly creeped out, I introduced myself. "Hey, I'm Alex. Alexandria. I'm new here. A senior, but I definitely don't act like it. And you are?" I smiled at her, like I did at absolutely everyone, for some unfathomable reason. Why I chose to smile at every moment in the day was beyond me. Hadn't I learnt that this wasn't entirely a good thing? There were no bands left, and the DJ started playing my favourite Dance song to ever exist, Don't Hold Back by the Potbelleez. I had the urge to dance, and felt like doing exactly what the lyrics were telling me to. Not holding back at all, I grabbed the hands of the girls, and pulled them onto the dancefloor. She didn't give me a chance to answer: she dragged us onto the dance floor. "No, really," I said, "Please, I don't dance," She didn't listen. Of course, she didn't know how sensitive I was to other people touching me, and here I was, in the middle of a crowd of people. Someone put their hand hard on my shoulder, and my reaction was automatic. I didn't see who it was, but I swung around and brought my fist hard into their stomach. Shrimp, it was Chad.

Dance like no one's watching. Sing like no one's listening. Laugh like you're on drugs and Party like it's your last chance ever. The girl I still didn't know the name of was accidentally bumped by a muscular looking guy. She elbowed him in the stomach, causing me to snicker. I tried to stop myself, but I couldn't. "I'm sorry," I whispered, feeling their sharp glares on me. The boy was obviously in pain, and I returned him to his physical state before she bumped him. He looked confused as to why he didn't hurt any more, but who'd complain about that? Status: Complete Posting With: Titania Daffodil, and the rest of you. CALLING ALL PARTY CRASHERS! I stepped away from Chadwick, "I'm really, really sorry Chad!" "No," He gasped, "I know you don't like people touching you, I should've been more careful." "Are you okay?" I demanded, holding his shoulders as lightly as I could, I didn't want to hurt him again. "Actually, ya, I am." He smiled. "Don't try to be tough, if you're hurt..." "No, he's fine," Said Alex. How would she know?

I was late for the dance.I walked and noticed that I was way over dressed, like I always am,as if it isn't already hard enough to fit in. Then all of a sudden I see Willow wallop Chad in the stomach. I burst out laughing and the whole room went quiet except for this blond girl I have never seen before, who was laughing with me.When I went over to say hi everyone had this puzzled look on there face, everyone except for the new blond haired girl.

Oh, And When I Look Back Now It Felt Like It Would Last Forever And If I Could Have The Choice I Know That I Would Wanna' Be There Those Were The Best Days Of My Life. I felt someone tap my shoulder lightly. I might have punched them too had their touch not been so gentle. I turned around wearily; the entire room was silent except for the two laughing blond girls. "Excuse me, ma'am?" "What?" I snapped, realizing just how harsh my voice was and trying to tune it back to a normal tone, "Yes?" I asked, more politely. In front of me was a tall boy, no, man, he was clearly big into sports: His abs were huge. But of course he didn't intimidate me. Not even in a very old pair of ripped jeans and a careless shirt. He was just another Ulbine. "Look, I don't wanna' buy any Charlie," I hissed, rolling my eyes and turning back to Chad, who was staring at the man in utter hatred. Utter, unjustified hatred, I may add. The man chuckled, "yeah, actually I was wondering... You're the hovercrafts lead?" His question was unexpected. "yes." "Well, our lead dropped out, and we're kind of on now..." Oh... For the first time I noticed the black and blue electric guitar in his hands. I sighed and took it. "What song?" I asked. Chad grabbed the back of my shirt. I turned around and leaned into him, "What?" I asked. He broke into a very seldom, very likable and very cute Chad smile, and whispered, "Good luck." I turned back to the guy. The room was entirely silent now, not even the laughing girls. "What song?" I repeated. he chuckled again, leading me to the stage. I could feel the bitter eyes of my band on us. I could have kissed Tie when she broke the awkwardness and saved my a** by beginning an animated chat with Chad and Laina. When we reached the stage the guy whispered in my ear, "Summer of '69." {You wanted drama, bang smack there's my drama i'm done for the night! }

She started playing the opening chord. I loved the fact that she was so much better than Liz, and so much subtler. In her own way, she didn't go about like she was superior to everyone else, but she was a bit... Outrageous. I sang the chorus with her, but I noticed that she was deliberately not catching my eye. I laughed quietly; Parnicket, our drummer, threw me a dirty look but didn't miss a single beat. He was watching her, too... Hmm, Parny annoyed me alot. He just moved from one pretty face to another, never actually looking below the surface. No wonder he kept trying to hook up with Liz, while we were still going out. When the song finished, I got there first. Wait, did that mean I was staking a claim on her, the same way many of the other boys in the room would be doing now? "Hi," I said over the cheering of the crowd. "I never caught your name," I told her, smiling. "I never caught yours," She smiled back. That was good. Did that mean she liked me? "Eldon," I shouted, trying to out-scream the roaring crowd, "Eldon Foxglove." "Cool," She began to move away from me, so I caught her arm. "And your name is?" I laughed. "Do you know the name of that star?" She asked, pointing to the window where there was a blazing white star. I shook my head, confused. "They don't have names, why should we?" And with that she walked away. So I decided to call her Star.
I followed her quietly through the crowd, not that it would matter in this noise. The next band had already started playing. There were more people in her group than there was before, I recognized her band members. One of them was glaring violently at Star. "She's ours," The guy growled at me. She rolled her eyes. "Lukia, Eldon. Eldon, Lukia." She introduced us quickly. I shook the guys hand, and I could feel him trying to hurt me. It barely felt like a feather. When he brought his hand away, it was almost deformed, mine having crushed it. "Nice to meet you," I smiled. "We're going to go practice," Said a different one - the drummer. "She can practice later," I said curtly. "Hey," It was the one she had hit earlier, not a member of her band. "So, Tie was worried about you," He said, occasionally glancing up at me with angry eyes. Then the one called Tie appeared behind him, flanked by two other blond girls. "Hi," One of them said to me. I nodded politely.

Who knows what could happen Do what you do just keep on laughin' One things true Tomorrows a brand new day I decided to gate crash Will's band meeting or whatever. I walked over to them. "Hi" I smiled at the dude. He was HAWT. I jumped onto the sofa beside Will. "Hope I didn't desturb you" I laughed. Will tried to hit me but I caught her hand. If she was going to play violent, I was going to play mean. I turned to her. "So, where's your boyfriend, Chad?" I asked her in a serious tone. I could see her burning red. Then Chad walked in perfect timing. "Chadwick, we were just talking about you" I smiled sweetly at him.

I felt myself go red. "Yeah, Chaddy, we were. In fact, Tie was just wondering if you would dance with her," I said, hiding the anger in my voice with seriousness. Tie stared at me in outrage, but I knew she was sure as hell too nice to tell Chad the truth. "No, thanks." Chad said coming to sit between me and Eldon. I gaped at him. Chad had never rejected anyone before. Tie went beetroot red. I would have said, 'aww, bless.' But I was too peed off. "Right," Eldon said, and then he smiled at me, "Well, you don't have to dance with nobody, Chaddy," He adopted Chadwicks nickname easily, "But if ya don't mind, Star, would you like to dance?"
